Christian has faithfully served in various pastoral capacities within Calvary Chapel for the past twenty years. His verse-by-verse teaching style is practical and engaging, reflecting a deep desire to convey God's message to the Church each week. Both Christian and Motoko have a compassionate heart for those who are hurting and lost, each with a fervent desire to see God's healing hand bring restoration through the power of the Gospel. As a vision-driven leader, Christian, along with his wife, are prayerfully stepping out by faith, aspiring to see God's path unfold in this new church plant.
Jim Luntzel

Jim Luntzel retired from the US Air Force after 29 years of active duty service. He joined Samaritan’s Purse in Boone, North Carolina leading the Operation Christmas Child international team working with volunteers in more than 100 countries blessing children and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. Returning to Oregon in 2011, he then served with SP Donor Ministries for the Pacific Northwest. Jim and his wife Colleen will celebrate their 47th anniversary this year. They have 5 children and 6 grandchildren.
Shayne Burnem

Shayne Burnem has dedicated 35 years to the telecommunications industry, specializing in undersea fiber optic communications. He currently manages seven fiber optic cable landing stations for Alaska Communications in Alaska, Washington, and Oregon. Married for 31 years, Shayne is a proud father of four and grandfather of two. Alongside his professional career, Shayne along with his wife in ministry, has served as an associate pastor and youth pastor in both full-time and volunteer capacities.
